Autumn Layers

Well it's been a couple of months since my last post, but this summer has been a bit of a rollercoaster and if I'm being honest, I haven't had any inclination to write since I went to Rome. Also I've been working a lot and trying to get everything together so I can move to London in the New Year, which has been hard considering my parents are currently divorcing. It hurts, a hell of a lot more than I could ever imagine especially as to me, our family always seemed so close and tight knit, but I guess that wasn't the case. Luckily I have a huge support network from my close friends, so all I can do now is look forward to the future and get cracking with my plans for the year ahead.

I think in general though, this summer just gone was pretty good. Kicking it off we had the world cup, 2 months of pub crawls and praying Mexico to do well, which ended in tears when they lost to Holland (unfairly I might add). There was sunbathing and picnics on Primrose Hill with Jack, followed by our incredible trip to Rome. Then 3 weeks in Barcelona looking after 2 gorgeous little girls. And who was I to complain when I was running around on the beach nearly everyday?! Coming back home was a bit of a downer though, even if I did get a beaut tan, but I think since I've been home I'm just desperate to get back out in the sun and feel heat - maybe one day when I'm rich I'll get to do summer breaks all year round!

So here we are, settling into September at last. You can actually smell Autumn in the air now which is pretty sad, but it does mean layering up for my favourite season :) This year think big coats, big boots, pastels, pinks and blues, minimalistic greys and massive furs! Wonderful. I think Autumn/Winter is fashion's own season and allows us to go a bit crazy. Here are some of the looks I absolutely loved from the 2014 collections this year.
